Glass Half Full

As the market continues its downward spiral, I am stricken by investors' and workers' attitudes. I admire the ones that seem optimistic about the eventual turnaround of the current economic crisis, and can't help but think about how their positive attitudes will affect their well-being in the future. These folks are an example to me.

I ask myself: What do I have to lose by thinking positively and focusing on what I DO have control over? Nothing.

What do I have to lose by expecting the worst and focusing on what I DON'T have control over? Health, wealth and well-being. Not to mention hidden opportunity.

I for one am going to practice being an optimist. Cheers!
