Bazaar

Yesterday I made a date with a friend to meet and chat about an idea we've been thinking about for a long time: a Bazaar. The idea is to get a bunch of women together in a bazaar-type atmosphere 3 times a year (about the time it takes for unnecessary junk to accumulate in closets etc. after they've been cleaned out). We will sell things we no longer need and, for the entrepreneurs in the group, promote our goods and services.

Everyone is feeling the pinch of the downturn in the economy and the hard times we face in the world, so we thought...why not do something creative? Why not look at these times as an opportunity to be innovative and do something new instead of just complain about how rough it all is?

So we started today by creating a facebook group to invite local ladies here in P.R. to get involved with the planning of the Bazaar.

It's a start!
